Kurkure Onion Pakoda

  • 4 big onions cut into thin slices
  • 1 cup gram flour (besan)
  • 2 tsp red chilly pwd
  • 1 t.sp. green chilly finely chopped
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp. coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 1 tsp water if required
  • Oil for frying

Directions

  1. In a big bowl take onions and separate each layer.
  2. Add red chilly pwd., green chilly, salt and keep aside for 5 min.
  3. Add coriander leaves and gram flour, mix. Mixture will be slightly sticky.
  4. There is no need to add water but if you see any dry flour, add only few drops of water.
  5. Heat oil in a kadai. Put little at a time. DON T make the pakodas round. Cook on a medium flame till they are crisp. Irregular shape makes the pakodas crispy.
