Abhijeet Sawant Wants You To Laugh
From the Great Indian Laughter Challenge to Laughter Ke Phatke, STAR One has been churning out variations of its stand-up comedy shows. Having exhausted all the TV artistes who tried their hand at comedy, the channel has now trained its sight on singers. This show will see Indian Idol Abhijeet Sawant and Voice Of India singer Abhas in a comic avatar. Besides the duo there are a host of TV actors and comedians, the usual suspects Ali Asghar, Karishma Tanna, Swapnil Joshi, VIP, twins Elina (of Bigg Boss fame) and her sister Sana who has introduced as Hansi and Khushi. Starting December 15, the daily comedy show will be aired from Monday to Fridays at 10pm. It will be hosted by Jennifer Winget and funnyman Sudesh Lahiri.
